About us

Headspace Promotions, LLC was founded by Michelle Kenyon and Rob Maier 2014. As we like to say, everyone has a story and it can be told in various ways. Some are told through books, others through movies, or music, and sometimes comedy, and commentary. Taking this into account, we provide human connection through live entertainment that allows the audience to unplug and enjoy storytelling whether it is through speaking, conversation, and/or music. Our inaugural year, 2015, kicked off with a speaker series, ‘Meet the Real’. Everyone has a story but few become best-selling books and/or Hollywood movies. This series included the real people who were the subject matter for these books and/or movies.

Who is…

Michelle Kenyon, Partner

Michelle comes from many years of working in the media industry. They say that in a lifetime a person will change careers several times, such is the case with Michelle. While in college earning an aviation degree, she was the editor of their college newspaper, Skywriter. After 8 years in aviation, where she engaged many famous people such as William Hurt, John Oats, and Kenny G, she moved into publishing and advertising. After over 20 years, she realized she needed to be creative on her own terms, hence co-founding Headspace Promotions, LLC. Not only that, she really missed being in the limelight and hanging with famous people. Michelle is definitely the “ham” in the company.

Who is…

Digby the Cat, CDO (Chief Distraction Officer)

He does his job very well. He insists on playing, having his belly rubbed, and going outside under supervision. He keeps us on schedule with his uncanny “hunger clock”. He likes to sit on keyboards to ensure more attention. This will explain some of the incoherent tweets we send out. People often ask about his name. It came from the character in the 1939 movie Beau Geste, starring Gary Cooper, Ray Milland, Robert Preston, and Susan Hayward. Robert Preston played the brother, Digby Geste.
